What - Noeli Ricci is a beautiful family estate nestled in the rolling hills of the Tuscan - Romagna Apennines. The family originally purchased the estate just before WW2. Today the third generation of the family is represent by owner and winemaker Marco Cirese. Since 2008 Marco has been determined to make the traditional wines his Grandfather would be proud of but in keeping with the natural processes. Today the estate is in full conversion to organics.
 
The Il Sangiovese is a wine that we just adore. It is everything Italian winemaking is about; Fresh, savoury, pretty all wrapped up in one. Sangiovese clones from across the vineyards is harvested by hand, pressed and vinified separately before blending and further aging in steel. The final stage the wine is conditioned in bottle. The result is a heady mix of wild strawberry, cranberry, cherry blossom and leather.
